Unless you previously changed it, your User Name defaults to the email address AAFCS had on file when the online technology was added in 2007. Your AAFCS member # is your Password (unless you previously changed it). If AAFCS doesn't have your email address on record, than your AAFCS member # is both your User Name and Password. If you have any questions regarding your account log-in details, please contact Membership at membership@aafcs.org. Your membership must be current in order to sign-in.
Once you've signed in, you'll see the live Community Sites appear on the left menu bar under "Community Sites." Click on the title of any Community and you'll be brought to the home page for that Community. There, you can read the Statement of Purpose and, if you'd like to join the Community, click "join the group." It's as easy as that!
Within the Community site, you may upload documents pertinent to your Community. You can also initiate a discussion, add your contact info, add a photo, etc. - - the choice is yours. If you need help get starting, access the help link for basic info, or feel free to email me, your Communities Liaison at smott@aafcs.org.

Now when you visit an individual Community site, you'll be able to see who else has joined the Community online! Just scroll to the bottom and you'll see Community Members. Click on the link below that, and you'll see your online Community! You can email members directly from that page, as well. | |
Before you add any website links to a discussion board, announcement, or any other part of your community site, please check the link to make sure it works properly and brings you to the expected website. A missing or extra letter in a web address can make a world of difference!
Thank you, staff. |
